These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website https://perkacademy.com, our LinkedIn page, and the online English language services provided by Perk Academy ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing our website, booking a trial lesson, enrolling on a course, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our website or services.

1. ABOUT PERK ACADEMY

Perk Academy is an online English language school providing live online English tuition, including free trial classes, paid courses, learning materials, and educational content delivered via digital platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

2. ELIGIBILITY AND AGE REQUIREMENTS

2.1 Adult Students

Our courses are primarily intended for students aged 18 and over.

2.2 Children and Young Learners (Aged 7–17)

We may accept students aged 7–17 only where:

  • Written parental or legal guardian consent is provided before enrolment, and

  • Additional safeguarding measures are applied.

We do not knowingly provide services to, or collect personal data from, children under the age of 7.

Age requirements are aligned across our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Student Handbook.

3. OUR SERVICES

3.1 Free Trial Classes

We may offer free trial lessons to prospective students. Trial lessons are subject to availability and may be amended or withdrawn at any time.

3.2 Paid Courses

Course details, pricing, schedules, and content are provided at the point of enrolment. We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to course structure, materials, timetables, or teachers where necessary.

4. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS

  • All bookings are subject to availability.

  • Payment must be made in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Prices are displayed in the applicable currency and include any taxes where required by law.

  • Failure to provide proof of payment may result in denied access to lessons.

5. CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING AND REFUNDS

We comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  • Free trial lessons may be cancelled without charge.

  • Cancellation and rescheduling rules for paid lessons are explained at enrolment and in the Student Handbook.

  • Digital services that have already commenced may not be refundable unless required by law.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

6. STUDENT CONDUCT

Students agree to:

  • Behave respectfully towards teachers, staff, and other students

  • Participate appropriately in online lessons

  • Follow classroom etiquette and safeguarding rules

  • Not disrupt lessons or misuse digital platforms

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to services for breaches of conduct, safeguarding, or these Terms.

7. RECORDINGS OF ONLINE CLASSES

7.1 Internal Educational Recordings

Online lessons may be recorded for educational, safeguarding, quality assurance, and teacher training purposes. Internal recordings are processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and rely on legitimate interests.

7.2 Promotional Use of Recordings

Recordings used for marketing or promotional purposes require explicit written consent.

7.3 Children and Recordings

Students under 18 will not be recorded without prior written parental or legal guardian consent via the Recording Consent Declaration.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting access to classes.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All website content, course materials, recordings, branding, and educational resources are owned by or licensed to Perk Academy.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, record, or share any materials without prior written permission.

9. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our website or services. Temporary suspension may occur for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant service

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter that cannot legally be excluded.

11. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
